One of the UK’s foremost wine importers and suppliers, Liberty Wines employs 80 people in the UK and Ireland, supplying a wide range of premium wines to restaurants, regional wine merchants, multiple grocers and independent specialists. In 2010, the company was awarded the On Trade Wine Supplier of the Year trophy for the second year running.
Liberty Wines was founded in 1997 with just four staff, but by 2009, it had grown to 65 employees. HR and payroll tasks were becoming increasingly time consuming and complex, with responsibility split between a number of different people in the business to manage in addition to their ‘day job’.
